Biography
Hello, thank you for visiting my site.

I am a faculty member in the Theater and Dance Department of the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. I teach Directing for the Stage, Theater History, Devised Performance and lead the BSE-Theater Education track. I have taught for Denison University, Weber State University, the New World School of the Arts and was Director of the Department of Theater at Arkansas State University-Beebe.
I have been a director, actor and produced playwright for close to three decades. I am a full member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, hold affiliation with Actors Equity Association and am a former Arkansas State Chair of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Prior to my career as a university professor and administrator, I ran several professional theater companies including the award-winning Utah Musical Theatre.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from Adelphi University and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Directing for the Stage from The University of Alabama. My scholarly research interests are focused on the techniques and theories of immersive theater performance.
